Well-Being Framework for Ireland 2023

This 2023 framework from the government of Ireland provides policymakers and Government with a more holistic way of thinking about how Ireland is doing as a country. It focuses on quality of life, with a particular emphasis on equality and sustainability. It reviews performance across economic, environmental, and social issues simultaneously, rather than in isolation.

This OER is a very informative framework. Accessing it online means that you can see present day statistics and data on various things related to wellbeing in Ireland. For example, on the website you have access to information about how income and wealth and climate and biodiversity are all interconnected with wellbeing. It is also laid out in a very interactive way and easy to follow format so that the information is inviting for you to soak up.

Following the website link attached here and below https://www.gov.ie/en/campaigns/1fb9b-a-well-being-framework-for-ireland-join-the-conversation/ the wellbeing information hub is a resource to utilise in order to grasp wellbeing in a more informative and factual way. With regards to questions about what is being done from a policy point of view on the topic of wellbeing in Ireland this is a useful tool to have access to and continue to update yourself on the current situation.
