Physio Coaching Program Plan on musculoskeletal disorders Personalised postural education

BSH Electrodomésticos España, S.A. is the subsidiary of the BSH Group, a leading manufacturer of household appliances in Europe and in Spain with its brands Bosch, Siemens, Gaggenau and Balay. The headquarters in Spain is located in Zaragoza and has five factories, a central warehouse and 9 R + D + i centers in which it develops technology for the entire BSH Group.

The purpose of this OER is the following; Diseases of the musculoskeletal system are the main occupational health problem. At BSH, they have been causing 55% of the days of absence from work. For this reason, we developed a Strategic Plan for Occupational Health and Safety that includes, in a prominent way, a Specific MSD Plan to address them in a multidisciplinary and comprehensive way, both for occupational injuries and for common diseases.

The project has been recognised nationally and internationally, as it won the first Prevencionar 2016 prize for Best Preventive Practice and was a finalist in the European Awards for Good Practices in Safety and Health granted by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work.

The “Healthy Company” Chair is created between BSH, Mutua MAZ and San Jorge University with the aim of studying MSDs, analysing the effectiveness of different preventive measures and implementing those that have shown positive results. These studies involved 450 volunteers.

Among the most relevant studies of the Healthy Company Chair, the preparation of a manual of specific stretching with personal and job recommendations stands out.

The Physio Coaching project is developed: individualised and voluntary postural education sessions for each worker in their workplace.
